Man charged after cash found hidden in vehicle in Belfast Harbour area
A 36-year-old man has been charged after police said hundreds of thousands of pounds were found in a concealed compartment inside a vehicle during an operation in the Belfast Harbour area.

The operation took place on Thursday, 24 September, and involved the PSNI’s Organised Crime Unit, Belfast Harbour Police and the National Crime Agency. Police said the man was arrested after the cash was discovered.

The man has been charged with possessing criminal property and is due to appear before Belfast Magistrates’ Court on Friday, 25 September. The Public Prosecution Service will review the charge.
