GAA weekend round-up: Clonduff end 26-year wait for Down title
Clonduff won the Down senior football title for the first time since 2000, while Newbridge, Magherafelt, Dunloy and Cushendall also progressed in senior championship action.

Clonduff crowned Down champions
Clonduff ended a 26-year wait for the Down Senior Football Championship title with a 1-14 to 1-10 victory over neighbours Burren at Páirc Esler on Sunday.
The Yellas led for much of the final and held off a second-half challenge after Burren’s Niall Toner scored a goal. Charlie Carr also found the net for Clonduff, who last lifted the Frank O’Hare Cup in 2000. It was the first Down senior final without Kilcoo since 2011.
Rostrevor were also celebrating after edging An Ríocht 1-15 to 1-14 in Saturday’s Down Intermediate Football Championship final. Kilclief won the Junior Football Championship on Friday, beating Drumaness 1-9 to 0-8.
Newbridge and Magherafelt reach Derry final
Newbridge advanced to the Derry Senior Football Championship final with a 2-16 to 1-10 win over Glen at Owenbeg on Sunday. Second-half goals from Pádraig McGrogan and Conor McAteer helped the reigning champions pull clear.
They will meet Magherafelt, who defeated Slaughtneil 0-14 to 1-6 in Saturday’s semi-final.
Dunloy and Cushendall book Antrim final places
Dunloy powered past Glenariffe 5-21 to 0-6 in Saturday’s Antrim Senior Hurling Championship semi-final.
Cushendall joined them in the final after edging Loughgiel 2-16 to 0-20 on Sunday.
