Police treating two Coleraine shootings as attempted murder
Police are treating two shootings at homes in Coleraine as attempted murder after shots were fired at properties where several children were inside.

The separate attacks happened within around 20 minutes of each other in the early hours of Monday, 5 October.
Five people, including three children, were inside the first property, while an adult and a child were inside the second.
No injuries were reported following either shooting.
Children inside home during Coleraine shootings
Police received the first report at around 12.10am after a number of shots were fired at a house in the Lisnablagh Road area.
Five people were inside the property at the time, including three children.
Detective Inspector Hanbidge said a three-year-old child was in bed when the shooting happened.
Police said the child, along with the other children and adults in the property, could have been seriously injured in the attack.
Officers attended the scene and carried out a search of the surrounding area.
Second home targeted around 20 minutes later
While officers were dealing with the first shooting, police received another report at around 12.30am.
Shots had been fired at a second property, this time in the Silverthorn Avenue area of Coleraine.
An adult and a child were inside the house at the time.
Again, nobody was reported to have been injured.
Detective Inspector Hanbidge said the second incident could also have had a very different outcome.
Shootings investigated as attempted murder
Detectives are treating both Coleraine shootings as attempted murder and enquiries into the circumstances surrounding the attacks are continuing.
Police want to hear from anyone who was in the Lisnablagh Road or Silverthorn Avenue areas from shortly before midnight on Sunday through to around 12.30am on Monday.
In particular, detectives are seeking anyone who noticed suspicious activity or who may have relevant Ring doorbell, dashcam, CCTV or other footage.
