NI Water urges households to sign up for free winter support services
NI Water is encouraging households across Northern Ireland to prepare for winter by registering for free water supply alerts and additional customer support services.

With the clocks going back on Sunday 25 October, the utility provider is reminding residents that they can receive text notifications about planned and emergency interruptions to their water supply.
Customers who require additional assistance can also join NI Water’s free Customer Care Register.
Extra support for vulnerable customers
The Customer Care Register is designed to help people who may require additional assistance because of a disability, health condition, communication difficulty or personal circumstances.
Services include a password scheme to help customers identify NI Water representatives visiting their homes.
Customers can also nominate a carer or relative to communicate with NI Water on their behalf.
Those registered may receive priority consideration for bottled water during supply interruptions.
How to register
NI Water Customer Experience Manager Ruth Simpson encouraged residents to consider whether they or someone they know could benefit from additional support.
Both services are free.
Customers can register through the NI Water website or contact Waterline on 03457 440088.
People with hearing difficulties can also access support through Typetalk.
